Watercolour on 100% Cotton Paper, signed on the front, unframed giving you the freedom to choose a frame that suits your space.

Unframed: H34.7 x W23 cm (13.7 x 9”)

Like a band marching in sync, rhythmic vertical trees repeatedly stretched in the distance through the bush, blurring the path as I walked along the Ruined Castle Walking Track in the Blue Mountains.

As a novice hiker at the time, I often found myself focused solely on reaching the final destination, moving quickly through unfamiliar terrain without fully noticing what existed around me.

“La Di Da” became a reflection of the moment I recognised this within myself.

Amongst the towering trees and softened landscape, there was an unexpected feeling of being held by the environment — as though the land itself was gently asking me to slow down. The repeating trees became grounding forms within the space, anchoring me back into the present moment.

This work is part of the Essence of Revelation collection. For more information, see “Collection Information” below.
